What do you mean stirrup pants are back in style??! I thought we were still rocking the wide leg jeans - but what do I know, I'm from the mountains in Canada where all we wear are Blundstones and Arcteryx jackets🤣

I love fondue and I love your dirndl!

I love my doggie snoring away beside me.

I love all the wonderful people I've met here on Substack.

Congrats on this fab show Kim, I wish I was in Boston!

"I Effing Love" is one of the prompts in our book and course Write What You Don't Know. Make a short list, choose one, rant for 10 minutes.... I keep lists of both loves and hates. Some of my more recent loves are watching old people partner-dance; skunks; spaghettis of wire hanging over cobbled or otherwise rough streets; and laughing when I didn't mean to

Where are you with the wires and cobbled street? I live in boston and we have they but the wires tend to be underground…

I love your loves!! So…. Where are you watching the old people partner dance and what is “old”… I think I may be technically old.

And if you’re around my age mid to late 50s, you laugh frequently when you don’t mean to. The bonus is if you don’t want your pants at the same time.👀

Always good not to wet your pants. Yes, we're the same sort of age.

The wires and streets are in Mexico, in Romania, in Cartagena... those kind of places. The old people dancing are more in their 80s - I don't consider us old! They're dancing on Thursday evenings on Taos Plaza in the summer, when they have a band, or at other two-stepping events.

We really need to dance more…why let the oldies have all the fun! Great places you name….

Your fondue is what we call a Chinese fondue. I love it too! And I love the smell of sunscreen and beaches -and I still wear Bobbi Brown’s Beach perfume year round (others too, but it’s one of my favorites). Oh and print magazines!! I bought three today ❤️

I love your note!

I saw that it was called chinoise when I was looking up for recipes… This time I did not try putting soy sauce in because soy sauce seems like the wrong thing. But my bro was OK not the best ever Do you have a recipe? I would greatly appreciate it because I love making fondue in this way.

I am laughing because I thought it was the only one who adored Bobby Brown’s beach perfume Amazing!!

and unsurprisingly, I also love the smell of sunblock🤩

Thank you so much for Francesca!!

I love your fondue set! My mom had one, and seeing it reminds me of the fun parties they used to throw -- one of the reasons I wanted to be an adult. And I love being an adult, and all the things that come with it, like adult children and champagne, and travel. Also, my little dogs. So many, many things to be grateful for.

I used to tell my kids that a lot…I love being an adult…love. for all those reasons you list above and for me, not being in school…grad school not included b/c that was a choice.
