This is so relatable lol. I spent 3 weeks with my youngest 10byears aho accompanying her and 49 other youngsters to a choir festival with 9 other adults in Turkey, few days in Russia and Latvia. At the time i was the annoying mom, making sure she had brekkies and being at rehearsals on time (getting her out of bed on time was the biggest issue). Being in each other's company was great and also restrictive. However now we look back , 10 years older, and most of it is remembered in rosy tones....the time we spent together, shared jokes,...it is a grand memory for us both ( i hope.both lol)
I love this! Where are you from? What an incredible trip but I can imagine being the annoying mom. Three weeks with 49 kids sounds like God’s work to me. 😂 but again, what an amazing trip!! Favorite part? Thank you for sharing!
Hi Kim I am from South Africa, and we took the 50 kids to the World choir Games in Latvia around July 2014...it was a wonderful 2 _3 weeks...Favourite part was definitely Riga in Latvia for the plus minus 7 _10 days for the choir Games...i called it a "cheaper version of Switzerland", very neat clean and European...
I’d love to go to Latvia. Though won’t happen for a while. One of my kids is a singer and did those choir trips though not abroad. So fun. But always isolating for the adults who have a herd of teenagers staring daggers at them :) thank you for sharing!!
Hope daughter has wonderful experience working in Paris!!! And yes the one on one time with our kids is so special. What a gift b
It is a gift. No doubt. Have to remember that when looking across the table and she’s still on her phone 😂
