Thank you, Kim, for inviting me to do this questionnaire. The lovely thing about answering questionnaires is that you clarify things for yourself - which certainly happened for me.
And I understand the anxiety challenges. I didn't know I had an anxiety disorder until I was in my 40s, so now I tell my kids about it ALL THE TIME, hoping they'll be better equipped to manage their own mental health challenges now and in the future.
Wonderful interview! Thank you for the mention, Kim. 🥂
well, it's something to think about for sure, legacy...the one I do not want is to leave a home crammed full of crapola....which is what I have now...too much stuff. I know it's not exactly shooting the moon but....
I am totally nostalgic. A sap....I keep everything written to me and have since I could. I have clothing from my grandmother, step mother and mother...cool things that are like costumes now....
last night I wore a funky black thin cotton dress with little flowers on it and a synched waist, see-through without a slip....went to discos with my mom in the 70s.....It's one of the favorite things I own. So much for decluttering.
We’ve had to move a lot— while it’s awful to move it’s a great way to spring clean! Bags and bags of donations. Hubby had 7 boxes of computer cables because ya never know. He narrowed it down to two.
I helped my mom move out of a large home last year...I had to make fun of her enormous collection of half burned candles. They were so fun to throw out!!

It is so fun to read your answers and then consider my own. Reading the Q5 makes me feel not as alone in my midlife journey or not as weird, anyway:)
Are we both weird?
Quite probably….
I'll second basic manners. 💜

I agree...I talk about that stuff with my kids, too...no shame in mental health!
Wonderful interview. 👏🙏🏻 I was just thinking about what kind of legacy I want. Thx for linking me. 💐👏🥰

Me either. I have always had a hard time getting rid of anything that was given to me. I did clear up my laundry room on Sunday!

Memories attached to stuff are hard to dispose of.

yikes. I think my son might have to deal with that kind of collection too.
You’ve got some nice “stuff”! I told my mom she’s going to need a pyramid.
