Something tells me we may need to do a collab or something, Donna...You have my sense of humor and I think we need to teach the young-us how to take themselves less seriously..."lead by example"

I use decluttering as a meditation practice and bucket all the kids' stuff in Container Store bins and leave them to the actual purging. I've also been known to host a purging party with a DJ, gorgeous eats, and cocktails... Anything to make it fun(ny).

That’s new. Have other people decide what you should have in your house. Very USSR! Or a purging party could be of the physical nature but that doesn’t sound fun.

Oh no, I meant just the kids... so a tiny party where they decide what to keep/toss! But I try to make festive???

We have done that! It’s totally embarrassing actually. Since my girls have graduated college, all their friends have been hanging out here a lot. during high school My girls wouldn’t let their friends come here (because we were the strict parents not actually ) so this has been so fun, but apparently my girls are known to have an obscene quantity of crap so they all come to go to “Stockwell store” And pick through the American Eagle jeans and things that they want
