Love this lady. 🥰

I miss the days of fewer entertainment choices, too. Now, I'm so overwhelmed by all the books, movies, and shows I could choose from at any given moment I usually end up falling asleep before I settle on anything.

Thx! Right? Let’s hit the books.

Reading...But in a fun way...not like studying...waht are you reading, CK?

I agree. I hate sitting on the couch with the TV commander (as my kids always called it when they were little, and it’s stuck) and scrolling and scrolling and not finding anything that I want to watch. It’s all the same, apart from on occasion. So yes to books! I’m listing to an audio book that is pure escapism, a bit too “young” for me, but I’m (far too) young at heart and the sex scene last night was like OMG (it’s a slow burn type of book!) so now I want to know how it ends. I’m also reading other books on my kindle, and have Elizabeth Day’s Friendaholic as my next audiobook I think. What are you reading?

Whoa! A steamy audio book! I haven’t tried that really… I’m reading The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne and it’s quite funny but there is some sad stuff on the horizon…. Addicted to it right now.

It’s the first time I’ve listened to a sex scene read on an audiobook 😂 it felt a bit rude 🙈😂 I love audiobooks before I go to sleep xx

My mom does too. I have to read for some reason… if I watch or listen to anything I need to keep watching and listening.

I began to listen when I had a neck injury and couldn’t move for two months. So I’d lie in bed with my phone next to me and listen to stories. And I got used to it. I have fibromyalgia so even now I sometimes ache too much to hold up a book in bed.

We should take these comments to DM. Haha.

I agree!! I have a tiny tv and it’s just basic cable. I prefer not to pick what I want to watch but get surprised and given whatever from my three pbs stations. But better, I have boatloads of books to read and should focus on that!
