How to eat in Paris alone-ish
I steered clear of retail shopping in Paris — except for pastries.
Gals and Galleons, ‘Allo!
As promised, here is the first installation of my travelogue for Paris and Rome. Because there is so much to cover, I will dedicate three posts to Paris! Then we will see about Rome. You will need to sign up for Premium to enjoy them.

No matter how many times you have been, there’s always something new to see in Paris. 🇫🇷
That is one of the traits I admire about a city as ancient as Paris. The French stay current and modern no matter the century. You can see the latest but also see, taste, and buy a thousand years of history lovingly (and expensively) cared for with the help of the French government.
Since I was alone all day on this trip, I could stay loose in my schedule. Ok, I had no schedule other than wanting to be on my way back to the hotel to meet my daughter for dinner around 7 p.m. That gave me about nine hours to wander around Paris. It rained significantly for the entire eight days, so my plan of drawing and painting in Parc Monceau sipping a coffee at the cafe, did not happen.
But now onto dinner and where to eat when you’re in Paris! Below, I tell you about where I actually went, including a place I LOVE and you need to know about and I give the names of the places people told me I should go, but will next time!! I hope you’ll join me below!
