As I sit here in World Headquarters I wonder...do other people sit in their bed and work? I do get a lot done and the pets are happy to have me here...

I loooooooove the Martha pot roast and fancy banana bread. I love working from bed--it's SO my office! 😂 When we had our Yorkie, Edgar, he would assist me by tucking in right beside me, snoring and snuffling. It was highly productive.

I love cold weather cooking. I bought a bunch of beef today because it’s stew time!! But not for a week or so. Will freeze it. I’m in bed with gidget now. She’s at my feet and growls when I move. Ever the charmer. 😍

Lola not only sleep ON our bed, but IN it. Dirty paws and all. She's quite good at burrowing under the blankets (invited or not) and spooning. She only sometimes makes licky noises, but definitely burps several times after meals. She barks at EVERYTHING and EVERYONE including us until she remembers who we are. If we are wearing hats, all bets are off.

Definitely leave the hat and glasses at the door unless you want Gidget to bark until she passes out. Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I grab Gidget and hold her like a pillow. She doesn’t seem to mind and it helps me go to sleep. Thank you for your input Meg. I’m so glad I’m not the only one out there with a dirty dog in my bed.😂

Ha! I just got home from work and snuggled Lola for ten minutes and decided she can be as dirty as she wants, as long as she keeps loving on me when I need it most. 😁

Just don't lick her nose....I have to think a dog's nose isn't a good place for we humans to be...snuggles are a must, I agree.

Henny, I agree...my mom loves putting orange cranberry into lots of dishes that I just want Lipton Onion Soup mixed into. I do like chocolate, though. Milk chocolate....you?

I mean, I like chocolate (I’m not a total pyscho 🤣)….I just never crave it. It’s one of those things that if it isn’t in my house, or isn’t offered to me, I don’t see out.

The best is foil wrapped milk chocolate balls and salty pretzels…

My bed is world headquarters too! Haha.

Apollo sleeps with us. I keep water wipes by the door and wipe his paws when he comes back inside. Dogs are pack animals. Apollo is definitely happy he can sit on the couch with us and sleep in our bed. He usually stays at the foot of the bed.

Good for you with the wipes! I need to put that on a list...and it's kind of funny being part of a pack. I for one could never imagine being in a sorority, without a shiver anyway. Dog pack is best for me.

And yet we love our dogs nonetheless! When my daughters were toddlers that often shared their popsicle with our dog!😂 Also gross but...

It probably made their immune system stronger!

I can't help but remember that scene in Something about Mary when the leathery old neighbor is overly familiar with her dog...eeeek!
